Grant Stott, age 86, passed away May 23, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born Feb 16, 1916 to William Edwin Stott and Arlie Elvira Grant Stott, in Duchesne, UT. He married Helen Cloe Greenhalgh April 16, 1942 their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Dec 18, 1964.
Grant was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, he loved spending time with his family. He was a hard worker and an excellent provider, he taught his children the value of being hard workers. He held several positions in the LDS Church, and served a full time mission with his wife. Grant was a master of all trades, and he loved to show what he could do by giving labors. He was very generous with his time and talents.
Survived by his wife, Helen; children, Marilyn Jane (Robert) Musselman, Glen Richard (Conchita) Stott, Gerald Grant (Kathy) Stott, Lyle Wayne (Kayla) Stott, Shirley Chloe (Michael) Pappin; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Stott; and sisters, June Hayden, Vera Millet. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glen; infant brothers; sister, Ruth; and two grandchildren, Marc, Denise.
Services will be Wed. May 29, 2002, 12 noon, McKay Ward chapel, 1623 S. 500 E. A viewing will be Tues. 6-8 p.m., Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 E. 700 S, and also one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Lakehills Memorial Park, 10055 S. State St. Directors, Memorial Mortuaries.
