Salt Lake-based Usana Health Sciences Inc. Monday announced plans to open the Taiwan market.
According to a company press release, Taiwan represents a $1.2 billion market for direct sales.
"Our launch date is targeted for the fourth quarter of this year," said David Wentz, Usana executive vice president, in a prepared statement. "We have begun putting infrastructure in place and obtaining product approvals, and we are on track to meet that target."
