Four people were killed in separate accidents on Utah's roads over the weekend.

Killed were:

Janet Davis, 36, Delta.

Miguel Arizmendi-Zepeda, age unknown, Garden City, Idaho.

Neil D. Marshall, 40, Sandy

Another man, 47, was also killed, but his name had not been released by deadline.

About 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Davis was on U-132 about 10 miles west of Juab, Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Chris Kramer said, when she rolled her car and was ejected from the vehicle. Alcohol may have been a factor in the accident, he said.

Just minutes after that accident, Arizmendi-Zepeda was on I-15 about a mile from Beaver when a UHP car came up behind him with its lights flashing. The trooper wanted Arizmendi-Zepeda to change lanes so he could get to another accident, a UHP statement said.

Arizmendi-Zepeda moved into the right lane and ran into the back of a truck. His car spun out of control and into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a semi-trailer truck. Arizmendi-Zepeda, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, the statement said.

The 47-year-old man was killed when the sports utility vehicle in which he was a passenger rolled about 5:54 a.m. Sunday on I-15 near Manderfield in Beaver County, Kramer said. The driver suffered minor scratches. The accident is still under investigation.

About 2 p.m. Sunday, Marshall was killed when his car fell 350 to 400 feet just past an area known as Dead Man's Curve on Skyline Drive near the Bountiful "B." He was ejected from the vehicle, said Davis County Sheriff's Lt. Dan Horton.

Two hikers had to scramble to get out of the way of the falling vehicle, he said.

There were no skid marks and the man was probably speeding, Horton said.
