Auditions have been scheduled for local music and stage groups.
THE WOMEN OF VIVA VOCE! are looking for a few good men.
Auditions for a Viva Voce's Men's branch are being held from now through August.
Wanted are male singers who are ages 18 and older and who can attend weekly Wednesday night rehearsals.
Previous experience is helpful, but not essential, and being part of the group includes training in vocal technique and musicianship, which requires a $30 fee each month.
The men's choir will perform alone and will sing in a combined ensemble with Viva Voce! Women's Choir.
To set up an audition, call Jean Applonie at 1-801-486-7995.
