Lucile C. Belliston, 81, passed away Monday, July 8, 2002 at her home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1921 in Logan, Utah to Lars Samuel and Alvaretta Leora Jorgensen Christensen. She married Duane Belliston on July 13, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church, where she was active as organist for 18 years, Relief Society President, State Scouting leader, Homemaking leader, temple worker and held numerous other positions. She was a member of the Wilson 2nd Ward for the last 25 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and was active as an election judge.

Surviving are her husband, Duane Reed Belliston; children, Layne (Thomas) Livingston, Monticello, Utah; Kaye Nye, Syracuse, Utah; Dale (Nancy) Belliston, Farr West, Utah; Craig (Jennifer) Belliston, Lindon, Utah; Carol (Paul) Jex, Glendora, California; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Hal Christensen of Fairfax, Virginia.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wilson 2nd Ward Chapel, 2333 South 2700 West. Friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. and on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 at the church. Interment, Hyde Park Cemetery.
