Little Caesars Pizza said Wednesday it has sold 39 restaurants in Utah and parts of Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado to Salt Lake-based Caesars Utah.
Terms were not disclosed.
The managers of Caesars Utah — Joe Johnson, Brad Dennis and Cory Hair — plan to open 15 to 20 more stores in the next few years.
United Mergers & Acquisitions of Salt Lake City was commissioned by Little Caesars corporate office to divest its Utah holdings.

Detroit-based Little Caesars restaurants originally were owned by another local investment group in the late 1980s and were bought by Little Caesars Corporate in the early 1990s.
