Our beautiful daughter and sister, Amberly Dawn Rupp, 20, of Meridian, Idaho returned to her Father in Heaven on Sunday, June 30, 2002 near Brigham City, UT as a result of injuries sus-tained in an automobile accident.
Amber was born on September 22, 1981 in Grangeville, Idaho. She is the oldest daughter of Gary and Tynagh Rupp. She graduated from Eagle High School in 1999 and was currently
attending Brigham Young University.
Amber spent her early years in
Kamiah and Lewiston, Idaho. She
attended Orchard Elementary. Her family moved to Meridian in 1988 where she continued her education in the Meridian schools; graduating from Eagle High.
Amber loved to learn! She especially loved to read. She could always be found with a book in her hand and a fact or story to share. She enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing, rock climbing, watching good movies, music, and being with her family and friends. She played the piano well and participated in girls' softball. Amber was a member of the Eagle High Key Club, National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America and Ski Club.
Amber was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Young Women class president, visiting teacher, on the ward activities committee, and was currently a teacher in the Relief Society.
Amber loved BYU!! She recently completed her junior year and was looking forward to graduating next spring. She was employed at the BYU Office of Academic Internships and the Student Honor Association. She loved her roommates, her ward, her co-workers, and friends. They all helped her feel loved and at home at BYU.
Amber was a bright, happy young lady who loved life. She made friends wherever she went. Her friends meant a lot to her. She always had a smile on her face; her laughter and sunshine could brighten any room. She knew what she wanted in life - she set her goals high and continually strived for excellence. Amber was a righteous daughter of God.
Her final days were spent with her family at a family reunion at Dworshak Reservoir. She always looked forward to spending time with her cousins and other family members. We know her smile continues to shine. We can only imagine how brilliant her glow is in Heaven. Amber, We Love you!
