Emma Lindsay Summerhays Walker, born March 27, 1908, passed away August 12, 2002 in Salt Lake City.

She married Milton Wilson Walker on December 5, 1928. Our beautiful beloved and precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend, devoted her 94 years in selfless service to our Heavenly Father and to her large family. She was a talented, spiritually motivated and loving woman who even in her late years was continually looking for opportunities to serve others.

She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings. She had a beautiful voice, singing professionally on the radio and in many plays and operettas. She wrote and directed many winning roadshows and choirs and blessed the lives of many others.

Sixty-four years ago her loving husband, Milt, died, leaving her a widow to raise and support her four children who now survive her; Marilyn (Wayne) Weber, Seattle; Lowell (Joyce) Walker, St. George; Marian (Robert) Vance, Las Vegas; Richard (Margene) Walker, Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren and 58 great-grand-children; two sisters, Norma Purrington and Marjorie Hovik.

With great gratitude we celebrate the remarkable life of our loving and wonderful mother.
