LINDON — Caldera International Inc. said Monday it will change its name to the SCO Group.

The change needs approval from shareholders.

The software company said the new name relates to the brand recognition of its SCO OpenServer and SCO UnixWare product lines.

Darl McBride, president and chief executive officer, said the company will "reinvent the SCO brand."
