Our loving daughter and sister, Esperanza Crystal Archuleta, 15, died August 3, 2002 as a result of a careless drunk driving accident.
She was born October 5, 1986, in Salt Lake City Utah to Antonio Deherrera and Yolanda Archuleta. She was a student at West Lake Jr. High where she had lots of friends. She had a beautiful personality. Hope loved to dance and listen to music, she liked to shop. Her favorite sport was Volleyball, she had a dream to be a hair stylist. She was a good cook. She treasured her niece.
She will be truly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace on her new journey.
She is survived by her mother and father Yolanda and Sergio R. Juarez who lovingly raised her. Sisters Rochelle and James and niece Eleecia, Herrera, Taylorsville; Jessica J. Martinez, Salt Lake City; brother Sergio Angel Juarez Jr. West Valley City; Uncles Kenneth Dave Archuleta, Taos, NM; Frank and Abby, Archuleta Sr. Cousins; Frank and Penny Archuleta Jr., Ted and Jen Archuleta, Eli and Lisa Archuleta, Audi and Yolanda Archuleta all Logan. Grandparents Roxy Christiansen West Valley City; Isaac Deherrera Sr., Salt Lake City; Best friend Brooke Valdez and many friends. Hope made friends with everyone.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thurs. at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church 4914 S. 2200 W. Friends may call at the Church Wed. 6:00 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine St. Under the direction of Independent Funeral Service.
