ST. GEORGE, UT <! > - Stanley Clark Kimball passed away January 16, 2003 in St. George, Utah.

He was born August 18, 1903 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada to Clark and Lydia Maude Partridge Kimball. He married Margaret Theone Carter and they had two daughters and a son, Janet Kimball Olsen, Sara Ann Ornstead and Stanley C. Kimball II. Margaret died and he later married Wanda Petersen.

He lived in Canada, Idaho, California and Washington, D.C. He had a BCS Degree, Columbus University, Washington, D.C. (Major Accounting), Banking Certificate, American Institute of Banking; Public Accounting License, State of California; BS Degree, Brigham Young University. Stanley had an impressive and extensive career in top government positions.

Some of the positions he held in the church are: three full time missions including a full time missionary in New Zealand; part time serving as Acting Principal of the Maori Agricultural College; President of three different Elders Quorums; Presidency of ward Sunday School and a ward MIA; Bishop; member of a High Council; Counselor in Stake Presidency; member of Church Missionary Correlations Committee; Counselor in New Zealand Temple presidency; Sealer in Salt Lake Temple; Seminary teacher; and Host, Visitor's Center, Temple Square.

He is survived by three children, 15 grandchildren, a sister Edna Fitzgerald and a brother, Richard Partridge Kimball.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2003, 11 a.m., Morningside LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 881 S. River Rd. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery.
