Elbert Leiter Ostrander, age 86, passed away on January 21, 2003.
He was born Aug. 5, 1916 in Tiffany, Colorado to Jay Elbert and Mary Taylor Ostrander.
He married Irene Taylor June 25, 1943 in Logan, Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church. Worked at Rio Grande RR as switchman and yardmaster for 37 years.
Survived by children, Odetta O. Gines (Dewey), Merlin T. (Beth ), Duaine T. (Eloise), Taylor L. (Tamyra), Lynn T. (Connie). Also 19 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Belview Ward, 300 East 6300 South. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 23, 2003 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South and one hour prior to services at the ward. Burial will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South l700 East, Sandy, Utah. Funeral Directors: Deseret Mortuary
