The Earth paused in a winter without snow for Ben to come and play. He leaves the confines of a body too small and inadequate for a spirit of such stature and love.
Born March 8, 1976 to Donald Ray and Patricia Fretwell Catmull, Ben valiantly struggled his lifetime against the ravages of a chronically ill body and cerebral palsy. He leaves behind a family who loved him and whom in turn he loved. His gentle spirit surrounded and guided all whom he met.
He is survived by his mother and father; his brothers, David Catmull, West Wendover, NV and William (Katie) Catmull, Riverton, UT and his sister Jennifer (Adam) Duckro, North Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his sister Amy.
The family would like to thank the staff and workers at South Davis Community Hospital for their years of tender care.
An informal gathering will be held at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, on Saturday January 25th at 2 p.m.
