5/22/28 ~1/20/03
Our beloved mother, Dorothy Rita Lovato, age 74, died January 20, 2003 in Ogden, Utah surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 22, 1928 in Bernalillo, New Mexico, a daughter of Jose and Senovia Gabaldon.
Mom was always on the go. She enjoyed serving others through her job at Senior Companions. She loved to make Enchilada's for her friends and family. Mom taught us to love unconditionally and to be tough. Mom always thought of others before herself. Her favorite things were trips to Wendover, her "true love", singer Vicente Fernandez, and coffee and donuts with her friends at the Meadows. She was a member of the LDS Church. She also loved her Heavenly Father very much.
She is survived by her children Rita Garcia, Lawrence (Vickie), Lorraine (Humberto) Coria, Sam (Liz), and Angie (Bobby) Archuleta; brothers and sisters, Ventura (Harold) Sandoval; Sophie (Joe) Rosas, Teresa (Henry) Medina; Margaret (Louie) Alarid, Rosie Medina, Ernie Gabaldon, Gilbert (Tonia) Gabaldon, Jose Jr. (Desma) Gabaldon, Toby (Viola) Gabaldon, Fred Gabaldon; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Davita Dialysis and her attending physicians for their help with our mom over the years.
