GRAND SLAM: Lorie Hutchison and Nathan Pollard are this year's top Utah Grand Slam marathon runners.
The two were among 96 who signed up to run five Utah marathons within a year. The races were held in Ogden, Park City, Salt Lake City, Logan and St. George. At least 87 finished all five runs.
Winners were determined by combining marathon times.
Hutchison's fastest time was a three-hour, eight-minute marathon in Ogden — her combined race time was 16:20.54. Second and third place in the female division went to Karen Minchow and Peggy Peterson, respectively.

Pollard's fastest race was a 2:44 in St. George — his combined time was 14:24.29. Mark Jolley took second and Bob Durtschi took third in the men's category.
