Question:Can you tell me more about Alicia Silverstone, from NBC's new show "Miss Match"? — J.H., California

Answer: Silverstone, 27, grew up in San Francisco and spent summers in her parents' native England. Her star began to rise in 1988 with a guest role as Kevin Arnold's "dream girl" on an episode of "The Wonder Years." From there she went on to star in "The Crush," a series of popular Aerosmith videos and 1995's big-screen hit "Clueless." Although her box-office draw isn't what it was then, Silverstone has since expanded into producing and last year made her Broadway debut as Elaine Robinson in "The Graduate," opposite Kathleen Turner and Jason Biggs. "Miss Match" airs Friday nights on NBC.
