Anne Murray has another honor to add to her four Grammys, three Country Music Association awards and various other accomplishments: her first hole in one.
The country music superstar, performing this weekend at the Oneida Indian Nations Turning Stone Casino Resort in Verona, N.Y., arrived a day early to play the new Kaluhyat Golf Club, which Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed.
Murray selected a 9-iron for her perfect shot on the 108-yard 17th hole.
"It was a real thrill. I still can't believe it," said Murray, a 15-handicapper who plays up to four times a week during the summer.
