1955 ~ 2003
Kathi LeAnn Thacker Schreiber, devoted wife and mother left her earthly life to be with her beloved Heavenly Father on October
26, 2003.
LeAnn was born July 12, 1955 in Colorado Springs, CO. She graduated from high school in Salt Lake City and traveled to Europe three times. It was on one of these trips she met Frank Schreiber, who was serving a church mission in Germany. They were later married on Nov. 3, 1977 in the Salt Lake LDS temple.
Her pride and joy were her two sons, Joshua and Charles. Despite many years of illness and physical struggles her greatest accomplishment and greatest joy was to see her children walk in truth and faithfulness.
LeAnn was a high spirited and kind woman who especially loved children and animals. She delighted in making people laugh. She always thought about others before herself and her life reflected many kind acts. LeAnn was proud of her Sioux Indian heritage. She was an active member of the Sioux tribe and always welcomed opportunities to show her Indian articles and lecture about the Indian
people.
She leaves behind her husband, Frank Schreiber, and two sons: Joshua and his wife, Katie, from Salt Lake City; and Charles on a church mission in Denver, Colorado; her parents. Alan and Janice Thacker in Salt Lake City; her sister, Janine (David) Oliva; her brothers Alan F. (Terrie) Thacker, and John A. (Annette) Thacker, her special Uncle Herman; and her dog. Higgins.
Viewing will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Chapel of the Valley in Redmond. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wed., October 29, 2003 at Carnation LDS Church in Carnation, WA. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates in Taylorsville, Utah.
