John LeRoy Schow, Jr., 61, passed away unexpectedly October 29, 2003.
Born February 14, 1942 in Los Angeles, California, to John Schow and Carolyn Amundson. He was fortunate to also have the love of his stepmother Donna Schow and stepfather Brantner Williams. Married Eileen Jackson in the Salt Lake Temple July 14, 1967.
Loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Active member of the LDS Church and served in several capacities. Worked in the plumbing industry for 42 years where he was known as a hard working, honest and loyal business owner.
John had a passion for the outdoors and was an adventurous skier, mountain biker and camper. He was generous and sincerely cared for the people in his life; always a good friend. Loving life, he worked hard and played even harder. John lived life to its fullest. His unconditional love will truly be missed.
Survived by wife, Eileen; children: Jeff (Jenny), Amy, Brian (Crystal); grandchildren: John and Nicole; mother, siblings: Ron, Craig, Brad, Randy, Scott and Susan. Preceded in death by father, stepmother and stepfather.
Funeral service will be held at the Crescent 8th Ward, 2080 East Pinecrest Lane (11530 So.), Saturday, November 1, 2003, 12 noon.
Friends may call at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So., between 6-8 p.m., Friday evening and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
