PROVO — Alpine Air Express Inc. said Monday that subsidiary Alpine Aviation Inc. has started flying a new route for the U.S. Postal Service.

The route is between Grand Forks and Bismarck, N.D., and is part of the company's expansion program within the Dakotas. The new Tuesday-through-Sunday service will add an estimated $1 million annually to its revenue, the company said.

Alpine Air provides scheduled air cargo flights throughout the West and Southwest.
