Harmons Grocery Stores has appointed three new store directors and a new vice president. Mark Jensen, former store director of the new Draper Harmons store, has been promoted to vice president of operations. Mike Arbuckle will replace Jensen as director of the Draper store. Kevin Bushnell, store director at the Orem Harmons store, has been appointed director for the Kearns store. Reagun Puffer, who previously served as meat manager for the Harmons store in Roy, was named director of the Orem store.

Five new associates have joined the Salt Lake law firm of Parsons Behle & Latimer. E. Brigham Daniels is a member of the litigation and environmental departments and will concentrate his practice on civil litigation. Daniels is a graduate of the Stanford University Law School and the University of Utah. P. Joshua Foukas has joined the corporate and tax department and will concentrate his practice on corporate, securities, tax and commercial law. He received his law degree from the U. College of Law. Robert H. Hughes will concentrate his practice on water and public lands issues. He is a graduate of the U. College of Law and Harvard University. David W. MacArthur specializes in environmental and natural resources litigation. He is a graduate of the U. College of Law, Florida State University and Brigham Young University. Juliette P. White will concentrate her practice on commercial, intellectual property and antitrust litigation. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law, Duke University and the U.

Former Utah Insurance Commissioner Robert E. Wilcox has been named president-elect of the American Academy of Actuaries, a 15,000-member professional association based in Washington, D.C. Wilcox is a consulting actuary and director of the California State Automobile Association and the California State Automobile Association Inter-Insurance Bureau. He served as Utah's insurance commissioner from 1993 to 1996.

Robert E. Mansfield, an attorney with Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy, has been named president of the Elephant Club, a club established to help raise funds for operations and candidate expenses for the Utah Republican Party. Mansfield's law practice includes complex commercial litigation, election and campaign law and securities litigation. He is graduate of the U. College of Law.

Jason Lilywhite has joined Ensign Engineering as a water resources engineer. He was formerly with an engineering firm in northern California. Ensign is a Utah-based land survey, planning, civil and structural engineering firm.

Executive Women International's Salt Lake City Chapter has named Annette Mead as its new president. Mead is an executive assistant at Wells Fargo in Salt Lake. EWI is a nonprofit professional organization for business women and their firms.

The Salt Lake law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy has announced its 2003-04 directors and officers. Robert Anderson, who served as president of the firm for the past five years, will assume the role of chairman of the board. Stephen D. Swindle will serve as president and chief executive officer of the firm. Other officers include Matthew F. McNulty, Gregory P. Williams and David J. Smith.

Hamlet Homes, a Salt Lake-based homebuilder, has hired Jillene Cahill, Tisha Digman and Yoshi Ryujin as sales representatives. Cahill and Digman will handle sales for Hamlet's Bear Hollow Village community in Park City. Cahill has six years of real estate experience and hosted a weekly television real estate show in Park City. She is a graduate of the U. Digman is a graduate of the Stringham Real Estate School. Ryujin will work at Hamlet's Lismore Greens community in West Jordan, where he will manage sales activity. He is a graduate of Weber State University.

Integrated Marketing Group, a Salt Lake-based marketing and advertising agency, has appointed Jeremy Kartchner as public relations counsel. Kartchner worked as media manager for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. He is a graduate of the U.

Washington Federal Savings has appointed Linda S. Brower as executive vice president and Brent J. Beardall as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Brower has more than 30 years of banking experience and is a graduate of City University. Beardall, a certified public accountant, worked as an auditor for a financial services firm in Seattle before joining Washington Federal as controller in 2001. He is a BYU graduate.

Christi Youd was named chairwoman of the Utah Association of Professional Organizers. Youd is president of The Organize Enterprise in American Fork and has written two books on organization in the home and office. The association was formed in 1999 to develop and promote professional organizers and the organizing industry.

Andrea Malouf was named editor-in-chief of Utah Bride & Groom magazine. Malouf formerly served as editor of Salt Lake Magazine and its subsidiary publications. She is a graduate of the U., where she also teaches journalism.

George S. Hopkin was named acting director of the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food's marketing and conservation division. Hopkin also will continue his duties as manager of the division's environmental quality section. He is a graduate of Weber State. Richard Sparks, the division's marketing specialist, has been named marketing program manager. In his new role, Sparks will lead the division's broader marketing efforts.
