1983 ~ 2003
Shane has embarked on a heavenly mission of hope.
He was born March 6, 1983 in St. George, UT. He died in his sleep at home Oct 30, 2003. He has parted company, for a while, from his mother, Julie Packer Mounteer; sister, Whitney, Woods Cross, UT; father, Bart Claude Mounteer (wife, Michele); brother, Bryce; and sisters, Megan, McKenzie, Heber, UT.
Loving grandparents, Faye Mounteer and Dee and DeAnna Packer, wish him well on his journey. Aunts, uncles, adoring cousins, extended family and friends will be anxiously awaiting future reunions.
Shane was near completion of an Associate's Degree at Salt Lake Community College. He loved to play baseball, and tease his siblings and cousins. His large frame contained a mischievous, tender heart.
Funeral will be Wed. Nov 5, 2003, 12 noon Wood Cross 8th Ward Chapel, 1450 S. 350 W, Bountiful, UT. Viewing will be Tues. 6-8 p.m. Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main and Wed. 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
Shane awaits new vistas and bids all a loving farewell for a time. He knows, as do we, that "Families Are Forever."
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Jaren Ira Packer cancer fund at Zion's Bank. Shane was deeply concerned about his four-year-old cousin.
