"Beloved Father and Grandfather"

Ray Brigham Bowen Sr. passed away at the age of 88 on November 29, 2003.

He was born April 10, 1915 in Driggs, Idaho to Lewis John and Adelaide Honey Bowen. He married Myrtle Ann Sain Oct. 12, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served faithfully in several positions. He graduated from Utah State Agricultural College and spent his life working as a dairyman in several dairies.

He is survived by 10 children; daughters, Rachel Bowen, West Valley City; Erma Bowen, West Valley City; Edna (Norman, deceased) Herrington, Kearns, Joyce (Robert) Plett, Sandy; Beverly (William) Bennett, Colorado, Janet (Bryce) Ingram, Alpine; Marie Bowen, Kearns, Ray B. Jr. (Cindy) Bowen, California, Howard (Julie) Bowen, New York, John (Cheri) Bowen, Sandy; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth and Ella.. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl and Merlin; sisters, Mona, Lucy and Erma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the West Valley 2nd Ward, 2820 West 3590 South. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park
