James & Co. Business Advisors/CPAs has appointed Kristin Cornell as senior auditor. Cornell has five years of accounting experience. She is a graduate of Southern Utah University.

Doug Solstad has joined Kemp Burdick CPAs and Advisors, a full-service accounting firm based in St. George. Solstad is a graduate of SUU. Prior to joining Kemp Burdick, he was a controller in the real estate industry.

Wallace S. Fetzer was named chief executive officer and president of Fetzers' Inc., an architectural woodworking firm. Fetzer, grandson of the company's founder, joined the firm in 1981. He is a graduate of the University of Utah.

Ken McArthur was named district manager of the U.S. Postal Service for the state of Utah. McArthur joined the Postal Service in 1976. He was most recently senior plant manager in Las Vegas. McArthur is a U.S. Navy veteran and a graduate of Westminster University.

Matthew A. Barlow has joined the Salt Lake-based law firm of Workman, Nydegger & Seeley as an associate. Barlow specializes in intellectual property litigation. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received his law degree.

The Salt Lake law firm of Nielsen & Senior has hired Angela D. Oakes as an associate. She will focus on medical malpractice, labor and administrative law. Oakes received her law degree from the U. Patricia L. LaTulippe has joined the firm as a shareholder. She has practiced law for 12 years, specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability and family law.

David Wolf and Michael Zimmerman were elected partners in the Salt Lake office of Snell & Wilmer. Wolf joined the firm in 1996 as a litigator and has experience representing businesses in product liability, commercial, medical malpractice and health-care-related litigation. Zimmerman, former chief justice of the Supreme Court of Utah, joined the firm in 2000. His practice is concentrated in appellate matters, commercial litigation and mediation and arbitration.

Steven W. Hobbs and Scott Sperry have joined KPMG LLP as a partner and senior manager, respectively, in the firm's Salt Lake assurance and advisory services practice. Hobbs has 19 years of experience in public accounting and advisory services and is a BYU graduate. Sperry has 10 years of public accounting experience and is a U. graduate.

The University of Phoenix Utah campus has selected Oliver K. Myers as its new college campus chairman for graduate business and management. Myers has practiced law in Utah for 23 years and is a U. graduate.

Charles R. Cambra was appointed to serve on the National Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council. Cambra will serve a one-year term, ensuring that Utah's small businesses are represented in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as CEO of Workforce Solutions.

Premier Mortgage Services has hired Charles W. Prows as senior loan officer at its Murray office. Premier, headquartered in Holladay, specializes in conventional, FHA, VA and non-conforming loan products.

Natalie Taylor has joined Integrated Marketing Group as public relations coordinator. Taylor, a Utah State University graduate, will be responsible for coordinating public relations and marketing projects for IMG clients.

Transwestern Commercial Services, a full-service commercial real estate firm, announced two staff additions. Robert Desmond and Monty Montierth will serve as senior leasing directors for the Salt Lake office. Desmond has 20 years of experience in the Utah and Idaho real estate markets and will be responsible for clients' leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. Montierth has managed leasing for several Fortune 100 companies.

John K. Millsaps joined Christopherson Travel Group as an on-site travel consultant at the company's Lindon office. He has more than 17 years of travel industry experience, including training, operations manager and consultant.
