Actress Bridget Fonda was recovering at home after being hospitalized with a back injury from a car crash late last week.

Her publicist, Nancy Seltzer, said Monday that Fonda "suffered a slight fracture of two thoracic vertebrae" and was expected to make a total recovery.

The 39-year-old actress, best known for the films "Single White Female" and "Jackie Brown," flipped her Jaguar on a rain-drenched section of the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Calif., on Thursday. She was alone in the car and no other vehicles were involved, authorities said.

Fonda, whose other credits include the films "City Hall," "The Godfather: Part III" and "A Simple Plan," was released from the hospital Sunday, Seltzer said.
