"Kiss"

Prentice "Sean" Delaney, born Jan. 8, 1945 in Tempe, AZ. passed away April 13, 2003 into Rock and Roll Heaven.

He was the son of Dorothy Johnson Delaney and Prentice John Delaney.

He is survived by a brother Leon Delaney; niece DeDe Peterson; nephews, John Nichols, Russel Delaney; great-nieces, Brittany Peterson, Zoe Delaney, Demi Drew Delaney; great nephews, Sean Peterson, Brently Peterson, T Jae Peterson, Johnny Peterson, Brandan Delaney; special friends, Bill Aucoin, Lydia Criss, Richie Fontana, Ron McLain, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Kenny Belanger. Sean's friends from all over the world are too numerous to mention here. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Dorre' Delaney Nichols and his parents Pete and Dorothy.

Sean attended Pleasant Grove High School and afterwards joined the army in the 101st Airborne. Following his first love, music, he traveled to NY City where he wrote, performed and produced for several record companies. He worked on Saturday Night Live with John Belushi, Gilda Radner and many others. His solo album was released in January of 1979 for Casablanca Records. He counted among his friends, Cher, Paul Shaffer, Jim Carey and Bob Dylan. His latest projects were his book which is ready to go to publication and a movie to follow. He had just returned from England where he was working with an Irish country band and was working with his old business partner from Kiss on the project.

Sean's energy, vision, love and passion will be sorely missed by his family, friends, colleagues and the world of music. The family would also like to recognize and thank the guys in the band, Gene, Paul, Peter and Ace and all "Kiss Army" Fans.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Provo Marriott Hotel, 101 West 100 North, Provo, Utah under the direction of the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home of Orem, Utah. An open viewing will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. prior to service. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
