Judith Kay Thursby Jones ("Judy") was born Easter Sunday in Canton, Ohio April 1, 1945, and died of surgical complications April 16, 2003.
She loved people, humor, and politics, and she was an excellent writer and director. In 1979, she was Kappa Tau Alpha's Outstanding News Journalist. She was a convert to the LDS Church. Married Gale Barrett; later divorced. Married Ben Jones, November 24, 1979; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Moved to Bowie, MD in February, 1992.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ben; her children, Dori (Jeff Norton), Bruce, Brent, Tressa, Jessica, and Ben Jr. (BJ); and her brother, Lynn Thursby (Columbus, OH).
Judy's funeral was held Saturday in Maryland.
