HEBER CITY <! > - Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Erma Atkinson Wade, age 87, left her earthly body to return to her Heavenly Father Saturday, April 19, 2003. She was in her home with loved ones by her side at her passing.
Erma was born Dec 11, 1915 in Francis, UT to Henry Roy and Lucile Pace Atkinson. She married Thomas Edward Wade Dec 11, 1935; later solemnized Sept 20, 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom taught us her hard work ethic and her wonderful sense of humor.
Erma is survived by her children, Rodney (Carol) Wade, Peggy (Vance) Farrer, Randy (Tami) Wade, Clair Wade, Pamela (Ben) Blonquist; special angel, Bonnie; sisters, Verl DugDale, Verda (Clarence) Bates; sisters-in-law, Elaine Atkinson, Eva Atkinson; 23 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchil-dren; and one great great-grandchild to be born in June. Preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Eldon, Frank, Ivan; and sisters, Alta, Irene, Hortense, Twila.
Services will be Wed. April 23, 2003, 11 a.m. Heber LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 240 E. 400 S. Friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home and 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial, Heber City Cemetery.
