Rebecca Finlinson Pratt, age 84, passed away April 21, 2003 at Delta.

Born May 27, 1918 in Oak City to Joshua and Ida Jane Jacobson Finlinson. Married Thomas Knight Pratt June 17, 1942 in Manti Temple. Tom died April 7, 1981. Delta High School graduate. Employed nine years in Hinckley sewing plant as seamstress. Enjoyed serving others. Active member LDS Church serving in Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, Sunday School. She served in Boise Idaho Mission 1982-83. Artist, poet, and peace maker. She served valiantly and compassionately.

Survived by sons and daughter: Dale (Sandy) Pratt, Oak City; Clyde (Colleen) Pratt, West Valley City; LaRita (Douglas) Schmutz, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Gary (Susan) Pratt, Spanish Fork; Jim (Carolyn) Pratt, Wauseon, Ohio; Josh (Shelly) Pratt, Oak City; 42 grandchildren; 21 great-grand children; sisters: Ina (Ivan) Nielson, Clarice (Gordon) Nielson, both Oak City; Lorraine (Don) Anderson, Gunnison. Preceded in death by son: Thomas Jr.; brothers: Olan, Oran, Dwain.

Funeral services Saturday April 26, 2003, 11 a.m., Oak City Chapel. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary Friday 7-8 p.m. and at Church on Saturday 9:30-10:40 a.m. Burial Cemetery.
