Maryland-based Lockheed Martin Corp. on Thursday said it has agreed to acquire Orincon Corp. International, a privately held defense and information technology company.
San Diego-based Orincon has about 250 employees, including those at an office in Draper that operates under the Sygenex name.
Terms of the transaction, expected to close by the end of the second quarter, were not disclosed. Lockheed Martin Management & Data Systems, based in Pennsylvania, will manage the Orincon business. It has been involved in systems integration, systems engineering, software development and program management in support of national systems for more than 30 years.
