NEW YORK (AP) — Henry Luce III, son of a co-founder of Time magazine, and his wife, travel writer Leila Hadley Luce, are being sued for $15 million by their daughter, who accuses them of years of sexual abuse.

The Luces say the claims are false.

In papers filed Thursday in state court, Caroline Nicholson said her 77-year-old mother "sexually molested and psychologically abused" her from young childhood through adolescence.

The lawsuit alleges that Henry Luce III, Nicholson's 78-year-old stepfather, "repeatedly acted in a sexual manner towards the plaintiff . . . including sleeping in the nude with her and on more than one occasion attempting to rape the plaintiff" when she was a minor.
