Beloved mother, Maggie June Bryan Davis, passed away on 2 May 2003 in Provo, Utah, after a lingering illness.

June was born 16 Feb, 1927 in Tooele, Utah to Willard and Maggie Cassity Whitehouse. Brother Dan (deceased) (Inez), and sister Dorothy (Joe), Tooele and sister Ruth (deceased). She married Aron Elmo Bryan in the Salt Lake Temple on 16 Feb, 1944 and was blessed with five children: Dian June (Bill), Zama, Japan; Jed Aron, Las Vegas; William Henry (deceased) (Colleen); Kim J., (Mem), Riverton; and John Mckay (Teri), Salem. Stepchildren: Joan Barnhart, Gary Davis and Darrell Davis. Aron preceded her in death. Married Chester Davis, Provo, Utah, who also preceded her in death. 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. One granddaughter and one great-grandson preceded her in death.

Among her many church callings, June served as Relief Society and Primary president. She was also the PTA president for the Tooele Central Elementary School.

June and Aron served a mission together in Washington D.C., with primary responsibilities at the Washington D.C. Temple Visitor's Center. They were appreciated for their gracious and dedicated service in greeting the many visitors. She was a faithful temple worker in the Provo Temple.

June had a beautiful soprano voice and often sang for various functions. Known for her kind and loving service, for opening her home to family, friends and associates, and sharing her life and many talents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at the Provo 13th Ward, 965 North Locust Lane, Provo. Friends may call Thursday evening, at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, from 7-9 p.m., or Friday afternoon, at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment, Salem City Cemetery.
