In your June 24 edition, C. Odell Kay writes to bemoan the "hate and hypocrisy" of people protesting the inclusion of Sean Hannity in Provo's freedom celebration. He concludes by saying that maybe if these people hurry they can include the Clintons or the Dixie Chicks.
I say, why not?
If you include Hannity, why not include speakers who represent the views of other Americans in an event that is supposed to celebrate our freedom and love of country. But then, I forgot. For the Provo organizers and Mr. Kay, you only love our country if you agree with Hannity's views and support absolutely everything the president wants. It is this viewpoint that people are protesting, not Mr. Hannity. To have it on display at a celebration of patriotism shows incredible disrespect for our nation and for what it stands. If Mr. Kay wants to root out hypocrisy, I suggest he start closer to home.
