Richard Lynn and Lisa Camille Jen

kins Goff, husband and wife, both 34, passed away unexpectedly July 19, 2003, at Crystal Lake in the Uinta Mountains due to a lightning strike. They were doing something they loved to do.

Richard and Lisa were married May 31, 1990 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Richard was born July 23, 1968 in Murray, Utah to Glen Richard and Linda Hardcastle Goff. Lisa was born July 9, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kay D. and Elsie NaDene Hatch Jenkins.

Survived by children, Dakota (9), Makenzie (5), and Megan (1). Richard is survived by his parents, Glen and Linda Goff, Axtell, Utah; grandmother, Melva Hardcastle, Centerfield, Utah; brother and sisters, Penny Hartley (Troy), Axtell; Christopher (Nancy), Axtell; and Joni Anderson (Dennis), Redmond. Lisa is survived by her mother, NaDene Waldron (Monte), St. George; father, Kay D. Jenkins (Ann), Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters, Debrah Biorge (Jim), Fruit Heights; Larry K. Jenkins (Annette), Sandy; Russell L. Jenkins (Lynette), West Jordan; Lori H. Ostler (Jeff), Alpine; Tamra G. Pickett (John), Albuquerque, NM; Jacquelyn K. Bailey (Jeff), Ivins; Mary E. Wenner (Tom), South Jordan; David B. Waldron (Jennifer), West Jordan; Sarah R. Waldron (Jacob), Oceanside, CA; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Richard and Lisa were active members of the LDS Church, serving in the Primary, Young Women's and Young Men's, and they loved their Savior. They were loving parents to their children, and they loved sharing the outdoors with them.

Funeral services Friday, July 25, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Westbrook Stake Center, 4113 West 6200 South, where friends may call Thursday 6-9 p.m. or Friday 9-10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the trust fund at Zions Bank for the children of Richard and Lisa.
