TAYLORSVILLE — The Utah State Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death of a woman whose body was found off I-215 Wednesday.

The woman, whose body was partially decomposed, has not been identified. She is about 35 years old. "It appears she's been down there for several days," Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Jay Southam said.

Crews for the Utah Department of Transportation discovered the body near 5800 South and 2000 West about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators will compare the body with information they have on missing people. They also will determine a cause of death. They have not ruled out a drug or alcohol overdose, Southam said.
