1929 ~ 2003
Connie Constande quietly received her wings Friday morning July 4, 2003.
She entered this world with a bang July 25, 1929 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Dr. Andrew J. Bowman and Mary Bitner Sheets Bowman. Connie had a great love for animals and for people. Those who knew her loved her for her childlike understanding of life. She will always be remembered for her beautiful cross-stitch pillow cases, bedspreads, tablecloths, and for her great generosity to others.
She is survived by her sister, Pat Shimmens (Sam); niece, Michele Ludlow (Walt); and their daughters, Lauren and Morgan.
The family wishes to thank all those at the Draper Care Center for their loving care and the many people who have helped Connie throughout her life.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tues. July 8, Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. and N St. Funeral Directors, Larkin Mortuary.
