NEWPORT, Tenn. (AP) — Two teenage stepbrothers pleaded guilty Thursday to randomly shooting at cars on Interstate 40, attacks that killed one person and wounded another.

William Buckner, 16, and Joshua Buckner, who turns 14 Sunday, pleaded guilty to reckless homicide, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.

Cocke County Juvenile Court Judge Ben Strand ordered them placed in the custody of the Department of Children's Services, where they can be held until they are 19 years old.
