Princess Stephanie of Monaco has married her boyfriend, a Portuguese circus acrobat, the royal palace said Tuesday.
The 38-year-old Stephanie and Adans Lopez Peres, whose age wasn't available, were married Friday in a private ceremony, palace spokesman Armand Deus said. German news reports said they married in Geneva, but Deus said he didn't know where the ceremony took place.
The princess — one of three children of Prince Rainier and the late American actress Grace Kelly — is closely followed in the tabloids for her tumultuous love life.
Stephanie had two children, Louis and Pauline, with her one-time bodyguard Daniel Ducruet before they married in 1995. The marriage ended a year later after he was photographed frolicking with a stripper.
Stephanie's third child, Camille, is the daughter of another bodyguard, Jean-Raymond Gottlieb. Before falling for her new love, Stephanie also reportedly dated a Swiss circus director and elephant trainer, Franco Knie.
