Northwest Toxicology, a Salt Lake-based drug testing laboratory, has signed an agreement to be acquired by Kansas-based LabOne Inc.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals but is expected to close by early March 2004.
Northwest Toxicology is a privately held drug-abuse and adulterant-testing facility. LabOne is a diagnostic services provider, serving the insurance industry, physicians, managed care organizations and employers.
