PROVO — The glory of 1950s America will be encapsulated in song and dance in "Smokey Joe's Cafe." The show is produced by Brigham Young University.

The show will open Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in BYU's Pardoe Theatre. Previews run Jan. 21-22. Shows run through Feb. 7, with a matinee performance Jan. 31 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $14 with $4 off with a BYU or student ID. They are available through the Fine Arts Ticket Office, 378-4322 or at www.byu.edu/hfac. Tickets to preview and matinee performances are $5.
