- Who loves you baby! Anthony Marquez, 41, born to Porfirio and Ida Marquez on June 13, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah, has left his pain behind, free of his very long battle with his illness, to join his father and brother on January 19, 2004.
We will miss his great sense of humor, his quick and never ending comebacks.
Anthony leaves behind his mother, Ida; stepdad, "Duke" Garrison; brothers, Alex, Jim (Connie), and Lawrence; sisters, Hazel (Steve) Barr and Jolene (Jeff) Welch; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews which he called "Relroys". He will be greatly missed by his best friends, Dave Garcia, Bob Bradley, and many others.
A sincere thank you to a very 'special' niece, Melanie Woodcox and staff at the Heritage Bennion Care Center; Karen Walton, R.N. with Rocky Mountain Hospice; and the many family and friends that helped with such loving care.
Preceded in death by his father and brother, Fred.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 South 9000 West, where friends may call Thursday 6-7 p.m. and a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Committal: 1 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2004, Larkin Sunset Garden, 1700 East 10600 South. Directors: Peel Funeral Home.
