I would be happy to stop griping about the criminal, illegal aliens among us. All that would be necessary would be to have them begin to obey our laws. Surely you are not in favor of allowing these illegal aliens to freely violate our laws and simply ignore their doing so.

This country has worked well for years with a "supply and demand" philosophy regarding wages, employment and manufacturing of consumables within our economy. Now employers are being given the opportunity to stack the deck against this system by importing illegal aliens to work for substandard wages, allowing employers to avoid paying appropriate taxes, such as Social Security, workman's comp, etc. The 18 million unemployed citizens in this country have no opportunity to get the jobs, when undercut by the 12 million illegal aliens among us. The job never even gets offered to them.

When employers have a choice to hire a citizen, and pay the taxes, or hire an illegal alien and pocket the taxes, which one do you think they choose?
