A television spot created and filmed by Orem-based Seen by Scene Communications and Emmy-winning filmmaker Michael Karr is the recipient of two national Crystal Communicator Awards — one an "award of excellence" and another for "distinction for creative/humorous advertisement."

The spot, produced for Emery Telcom, a southeastern Utah telecommunications company, featured local comedian Bob Bedore getting hit in the head with a golf ball, then tumbling down a hill and diving head first into a water trap.
