1939 ~ 2004
Cheryl Gudmundson Mitchell Murphy, age 64, passed away at Cottonwood Hospital on October 4, 2004.
She was born in November of 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Stanley Clark Gudmundson and Barbara Pearl Bingham.
She married Byron John Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah in 1955; later divorced. Currently married to Daniel A. Murphy originally of San Diego, CA. Cheryl had one sister and three brothers: Tanya Siciliano of Murrieta, CA; Conan Gudmundson of Salt Lake City, UT; Scott Gudmundson of Vancouver, WA; and Stanley Arn (Sonny) Gudmundson, preceded her in death.
Mom dearly loved her family and friends and had a listening ear.
She is survived by her husband Daniel and her children, Randy Jay (Donna) Mitchell, West Valley City, UT; John Byron (LeeAnn) Mitchell, Acworth, GA; Shelly (John) Siciliano, Menifee, CA; Sherlly (James T.) Tosh, Chattanooga, TN; Wendy Sue (Bradford) Marx of Goodyear, AZ; Kelly Lynn ( Georgette) Mitchell of Murray, UT. Mom had 14 grandchildren and the latest addition of her first great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 8, 2004 at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South with a viewing from 10:00 -10:30 a.m. prior to graveside services, family and friends may call at Memorial Mortuary 5850 South 900 East Thursday, Oct 7, 2004 from 6-8.
Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery where Mom will be laid to rest beside her parents and brother.
