Impact Imaging Inc. and ProGrafix International Inc. announced Monday the merger of their two companies into a new corporation, Fusion Imaging Inc.
Joint operations will begin Jan. 1.
Kim Griesemer, president of Impact Imaging, will serve as chairwoman of Fusion Imaging. Kathy Boydstun, vice president of ProGrafix International, will be president.
"Fusion will provide a broader range of products and services than were being provided by either company alone, creating a virtual one-stop shop for all of our clients' digital printing needs," Griesemer said in a statement. "From concept through design, production and installation, Fusion can provide full-service, turnkey execution of the most complex projects. Additionally, our clients will benefit from the synergies gained by blending our two companies' technical expertise and financial strength."
Like its parent companies, Fusion will specialize in digitally imaged products, ranging from vehicle and building wraps to floor graphics and billboards.
Other officers of Fusion Imaging will include Wayne Boydstun, chief operating officer; James G. Clegg, executive vice president of sales; William S. Simmons, vice president of finance; and Jeffery R. Hunsaker, vice president of technology.
The company will be located at Impact Imaging's facility at 601 W. Boro St. in Kaysville.
