1921 ~ 2004

Evelyn Jager Drury, 83, passed away December 6, 2004 at her home in Kaysville, Utah.

Evelyn was born October 9, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah To Tryntje and Arjen Jager.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benedict Drury; brothers, Harry and Arjen Jager and her twin brother, Edward; sister, Rose Ash and grandchild, Thayne Drury. She is survived by her dear sister, Clara Boulton; brothers, Alma and Arthur; her children, Lawrence Drury(Sharon Gleed), Sandra Delaney (Gordan) and Kathleen Scarbrough (Dan). She had 12 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and Luke, her cat that she adored.

Evelyn was very involved in the LDS Church and served in many capacities including a mission with her sister Clara to Tampa, Florida. She strived diligently to fulfill all of the directions in her Patriarchal Blessing and spent many hours in temple work and genealogy research. She was an excellent homemaker, a beautiful seamstress and quilter. She spent many hours visiting and comforting friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Kaysville 1st Ward Tabernacle, 200 W. Center St. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main and Thursday morning at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
