Michael Paul Connole died of natural causes on January 20, 2004 in Norman, Oklahoma.
He was born on December 14, 1947, to Arthur McLaughlin Connole and Ruth Cox Connole, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They preceded him in death. He attended Westminster College and served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam Conflict. A creative and adventurous man, Paul worked at various jobs during his career, sales, survey work and ended up as a "Sooner" working in Oklahoma managing a ranch. With a special affinity with animals, he had a knack of communicating with them. Paul was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church. the Cleveland County Cattleman's Association and the Oklahoma Farmers Union. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Norman Masonic Lodge #38 AF & AM.
He is survived by three children, Holly, Shawn and Brian, three brothers, Roger John (Barbara) Connole, Arthur "Mac" McLaughlin (Judy) Connole, and John Scott Connole and one sister, Suecarol Robinson, special friends, Marlene McLaughlin and Ed Preble, one granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
A vigil will be held at Neil O'Donnell Mortuary, 372 East First South, at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Private graveside services will be held February 3rd at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
