Special Daughter & Sister
Our dear, loving daughter, sister and friend reunited with her family in heaven on February 15, 2004 while at her home, hand in hand with her family. This has left a void in our lives which will never be filled.
Debra was born January 27, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bonnie D. Thompson Hansen and Dale Ogden Hansen. She graduated from Viewmont High School in 1974. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for South Valley Training School as a receptionist for many years and was a valued employee. She was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. Debra enjoyed traveling. Mostly, she loved being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents; siblings Gay, Scott, Mark, Melody, Michelle, David, Kim and Chris; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends. Preceded in death by her dearly loved grandmother Margaret Thompson and three brothers Michael, Bret and Kirt.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, February 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
She will be dearly missed by the many lives that she has touched. <! >
