VERNAL<! > - Sherron G. Jackson, age 67, loving husband of Donneita Olsen of Vernal, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 3, 2004.
He was born August 25, 1936 in Vernal, UT to Glenn W. and Bernice Gurr Jackson. Sherron belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Davis 2nd Ward. Sherron was a faithful home teacher.
He loved horses, ranching, fishing, hunting and most of all his children and grandchildren.
Sherron is survived by his wife Donneita of Vernal; children, Glendon W. (Shanna) Jackson; Hal D. (Kim) Jackson; Cal G. (Shona) Jackson; Verna Gale (Homer) Scott; Rhonda Michelle (Dave) Dugger; Janet Elaine (Lee) Overholts; brothers, Kent, Lane, Harley, and Randy Jackson all of Vernal; Danny Jackson of So. Jordan; sisters, Marnell Rowley of Kearns, Utah; Glena Hall of Riverton; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. He was preceded in death by Glenn and Bernice; and one great-grandson, Devin Burt.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 11:00 am at the Davis 2nd Ward LDS Chapel (4080 So. 2500 E.). Family and friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and on Monday one hour prior to the services at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
