Saturday's school-record score of 197.55 helped BYU vault from 24th in the national gymnastics rankings to 14th this week, but the second-highest score in Utah history, 198.05, couldn't help the 6-1 Utes. They dropped from fourth to sixth.
It is Utah's lowest rating of the season. It was No. 1 for two weeks in January and spent the past four weeks at fourth.
Rankings since last week have been figured by Regional Qualifying Score, an average of a select six scores, some of which must be from road meets.
Moving ahead of Utah were LSU and Stanford, which are both making their first appearance of the year in the top six. UCLA remained at No. 1, followed by Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Stanford and Utah.
Utah State dropped from 28th to 29th with an RQS of 194.891, and Southern Utah is 35th at 194.815.

In individual ratings, BYU's Kari Lords fell from second to fifth on balance beam (9.925 RQS) and is tied for 13th on floor (9.92).
Four Utes are ranked, including three in the vault. Annabeth Eberle is No. 4 with a 9.95 RQS, and Nicolle Ford (9.90) and Rachel Tidd (9.90) are tied for 15th. Melissa Vituj is tied for eighth on floor (9.93) and is 18th on beam (9.895).
